Norwegian Craft Brewery

From 600 to 8000 liters per month
in only three years.

Growing from home brew

The Lysefjorden brewery was establilshed in 2013 by Rune Birkeland from Fana, Bergen. Rune is a trained craftsman and a man who likes to make things himself, whether it's his own bacon or beer, bar or smokehouse.

From a modest begining, production has increased from 600 litres per month in 2014 to 8000 litres in 2017.

Cans, Bottles, Kegs

Lysefjorden produce their beers in 0,33l cans, 0.5l longneck bottles and 20 litre KeyKegs to be sold in refined outlets in the Bergen area and the rest of Norway.

Distribution is done through Spesialgrossisten Troye AS og Nye Vinhuset AS, and you can find their beer in most of the grocery stores in Hordaland county.

Mesteparten av ølet vårt
tappes i Longneckflasker til
butikker og Vinmonopolet.
Resten tappes på 20l
KeyKeg for HoReCa.
